A blog for discussion of ideas relating to digital media literacy and to keep track of various ideas that may affect the way in which I view the topic of digital convergence and media literacy.I got this idea from a librarian from the London school of economics who had suggested in a conference presentation (on the use of facebook for libraries) that PhD students consider using a closed blog to help keep track of and discuss various ideas about their topic. She said that many people students had shown an interest and she had organised seminars to teach about how it might be done- but no one had attended. It sounded like a good idea though, and, having encountered some pretty severe writers block this past while, I figured anything was worth a shot.
